Bratislava in the middle ages (Bratislava v stredoveku)
This book sheds light on medieval Bratislava from 11th till 16th century a period in history during which the city developed rapidly, becoming one of the most important cities of the Hungarian Kingdom by the end of middle ages. The book went trough extensive graphical design and includes numerous illustrations, maps, letters, historical and contemporary photographs of the city and its artifacts. This book is a must have for any fans of history or anyone interested in the capital city of Slovakia, they are all in for a treat. The book is unique as it is currently the most comprehensive book about Bratislava in the middle ages.
Historia gentis Slavae (Prvé dejiny slovenského národa)
In the year 1780, the First history of Slovak nation was written by nations first historian a scholar and catholic priest Juraj Papánek. The book had to wait over 238 years to be translated from Latin into Slovak. It contains Latin facsimile and a complete translation into Slovak language. Among the 14 chapters the reader can explore various topics dealing with Slovak and Slavic history: 1. List of Slavic kings, 4. Slavic origins, 8. contemporary view of ancient Slovak kingdom, 12. Deeds of Slovak kings, 13. Slovak king Svatopluk. The text is accompanied by original illustrations, scientific studies and editorial notes. This unique book isn't meant for historians only but will indulge anybody interested in history.
Aunt Agata and her clowder of seven (Teta Agáta a jej mačacia sedmička)
Every neighbor and relative likes Aunt Agata. She is nice, kind and even famous. Once they even written about her in the newspapers. The article was called AUNT AGATA AND HER CLOWDER OF SEVEN. Who ruled us (Kto nám vládol)
Today's territory of Slovakia has been ruled by a variety of well known and lesser-known rulers. The reader of this book will find basic information about each of them. The author sheds light on their lives - how they ruled, their traits, what good and bad they have done. The text is accompanied by documents, statements of contemporaries and numerous illustrations and portraits. Slovakian territory has been ruled by local as well as foreign leaders. From the Frankish merchant Samo, through Pribina and Svätopluk, the reader takes a journey trough various periods till the throne was dominated by the Árpád dynasty. Their dynasty has produced 24 Hungarian kings. Later the throne was ruled for four hundred years by the Habsburgs. We were also ruled by kings belonging to the Jagiellonian or Luxemburg dynasty and others. After World War I. most of these dynasties and houses were forgotten. The government has been taken over by a different type of rulers, specifically presidents, the first one was Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk. They were followed by Edvard Beneš, Emil Hacha, Jozef Tiso, all the way to the current President of Slovak Republic. This richly illustrated publication is intended for primary and secondary level pupils (grades 1-4 and 5-9), school teachers, but also for anyone in the general public who has an interest in history.

Vienna Illuminated Chronicle (Viedenská maľovaná kronika)
Vienna Illuminated Chronicle (in Latin Chronicon Pictum) was written in May in 1358. In the courtyard of king Lois of Great, some unknown author managed to record and process our history in such a rich and wide extent, like to no one before him. After a while, the veil of this mystery was revealed and the authorship of this masterpiece started to be attributed to Mark of Kalt (in Latin Marcus de Kalt) a priest of Saint Peter's Curch in Buda. Whether it was Mark of Kalt, thanks to whom the historical documents were preserved or anyone else, this action was enormously important. We are surely not exaggerating when we say that he made a huge service to science. He documented and retained a vast amount of data, episodes and myths for future generations to come. The work, until today never completely published into Slovak language contains besides the Slovak translation also the Latin version of text with 147 authentic paintings, preserved from the 14th century.

Adela, don't you dare! (Adela, ani to neskúšaj!)
Although it's all made-up, this book is based on true story. Author believes that somewhere there lives some Adela. Even though she does not live in Yellow house and her name is not even Adela. She does not have brothers named Miro and Miško, who calls himself Čumendal and neither her mum is not in a hospital. But it is still Adela, who is performing in these stories, plays football, knows how to grapple with life and loves humour. At the beginning, Adela and her story was born only as a short story, which Peter Karpinský submitted to a literature competition in the category of original short story for children. It was a big surprise, when the short story "Adela, don't you dare!" got positive feedback from children jurors that much, that it won the main price, the "Children price". It is a wonderful read for all girls and boys by a popular author. “I was very pleased, because I have great respect for this competition and I also know that the anthologies, in which these awarded short stories, are published, children do like very much.
